It’s March 6, 2025, and I just shipped NicheZap v0.1—a scrappy little lead-gen tool that pulls niche users from Reddit, costs nothing, and flips the bird to X’s API paywall. Tonight, I scraped 3 carnivore fans from r/carnivorediet, tweeted the proof, and kicked off this #BuildInPublic ride. Here’s the raw scoop—failures, wins, and where this empire’s headed.

X’s free tier caps you at 500 writes—useless for real growth. Their API? Pricey as hell. I’m not here to pay Elon to hustle. NicheZap’s my fix: scrape public niches (like carnivore dieters), generate leads, and engage—all for $0. Goal? From 2 followers to billions, one niche at a time.
v0.1: What It Does
Built it live tonight in IntelliJ with Jsoup. Hit r/carnivorediet, pulled 3 real users (shoutout u/XxColieMolie, u/nellaxsuiluj, u/tdazzle02384—don’t worry, I anonymized ‘em on X). Generated replies like “Ribeye stan here—what’s your cut?” and tweeted the whole mess. No AI yet—just pure scraping grit. Check it on X:

What’s Next: v0.2
